# On-Chain Analysis

On-chain analysis reads public blockchain data for signals — coins moving to exchanges, long-dormant supply waking, holder concentration, realised profit. It's a genuinely novel dataset with no equivalent in traditional markets, where equivalent flow data is private. The same techniques power forensic tracing, which is why crypto is a poor choice for crime and an excellent one for prosecutors.
