CFA® Candidate & Analyst
You're sitting CFA® Level I, or you want the investment-analyst seat it leads to, and you'd rather have the foundations solid before the curriculum speeds up.
What you'll leave with: Walk into Level I with the quantitative, economic and valuation groundwork already in place, then practise the whole curriculum as levels with four end-of-world exams.
5 courses · 134 levels · about 26 hours · starts at beginner
The courses, in order
Nothing is locked: skip a step you already know.
- Stat Dojo The Quantitative Methods readings assume you already think in distributions and standard errors. Get there first.
- Reading the Books Financial statement analysis is one of the heaviest topics on the Level I exam. Learn to read the three statements, and the judgement behind each line, before the curriculum assumes you can.
- Capital Quarters Time value of money, cost of capital and valuation — the engine underneath Corporate Issuers, Equity and Fixed Income.
- Macro & Markets The Economics readings: the business cycle, monetary and fiscal policy, and exchange rates.
- Charter Climb The whole Level I curriculum as a game: ethics, quant, economics, financial reporting, the asset classes and portfolio management.
Worth adding
- Mind Over Markets — Behavioural finance appears in Portfolio Management at Level I and grows at Level III.
- Regression Range — The regression readings in Quantitative Methods, taken properly.
